My child arrived just the other day,

"When you comin' home?"

"מתי אתה מגיע הביתה?"

"Son, I don't know when;

"בן, איני יודע מתי;

We'll get together then;

נהיה ביחד אז;

You know we'll have a good time then."

Well, my son turned ten just the other day;

כן, בני נהיה בן עשר רק אתמול;

He said, "Thanks for the ball, Dad, come on, let's play.

I've long since retired, my son's moved away;
